Arabian Nights
What a magical event full of color and life! PJ Hummel and Co was tasked with creating something magical based off of a Disney theme, Aladin.
Billowing canopy lounges surrounded by a giant life size golden elephant wowed guest in pre-function. Still walkers dressed as Arabian horses along with belly dancers gracefully moved around the room. The main dining was a magical mix of color with a giant backdrop that gave the impression of being under the stars. Side build outs of life size camels under tall palms and market trinkets flanked the stage. Colorfull linens, parasols and lanterns adorned the tables.
Dia Los Muertos Gala
A celebration for the living to honor the dead. The Tacoma NACE Chapter held their annual fundraiser at Tin Can Alley Tacoma (PJ Hummel & Co's signature venue. The idea behind this concept was for guest to bring photo's of loved ones past so they could enjoy the evening in memory with the living. Spicy tones of shimmery orange and pink tones covered the walls. Pre-function consisted of ofrenda's, auction offerings and living painting of the event. Main dining was a sea of dark warming tones with a giant ofrenda at the stage. Centerpieces consisted of tall floating candelabra's, star jars and lots of paper floral! The evening was topped off with a live performance and a clog dancer.
Taste Washington Lounge
A Seattle urban inspired lounge at Taste Washington to match an airline's new branding. The company had a new esthetic utilizing warm wood tones paired with brushed metal and organic elements. Inspired by their new slogan “Bring the Outside In,” the lounge was set with a mix of seating options. Two high-back white bench couches were paired with three grass turf benches and wooden cart tables. Branded navy blue throw pillows added a pop of color. Six industrial style metal cocktail tables were paired with wooden barrel stools for additional seating. The Buffet was a show-stopping tiered X table display with concrete posts and cedar tops.

Secret Garden Wedding
This ECAA Seattle Award winning wedding was to be unlike any other; a wedding that would encompass traditional Hindu customs as well as modern elements with over-the-top decadence. This was achieved with unique components such as a Baraat procession, a custom made Mandap altar, and elaborate décor like rich garnet draperies, thousands of red roses, and an abundance of golden accents.
The Marigold Lounge
It's all about lighting in the Marigold Room, a Bollywood inspired affair! PJ Hummel & Company offers over 30 fabrications of 20ft tall special event drapery - 6 of which are showcased in this room. Berry pink, violet, orange, yellow, plum, and tangerine sheer danced around the ballroom adding a vibrant splash of color. A series of seminars and keynotes filled that day and the event concluded with a rooftop cocktail party.
Speakeasy in SODO
An opulent art-deco speakeasy theme at The Showbox Sodo. Guests entered through a traditional “backdoor” archway with authentic old whiskey bottles and barrels. After clearing the doorman with a secret password, the main stage was decked out in deco Egyptian flair. Elevated platforms hosted pockets of lavish seating areas with a view of the dance floor continuing the teal and bronze pallet. The side bar took on a different approach with lavish red hues in seating and centerpieces. And what better way to remember the evening then having your portrait behind bars?
Magic & Mischief Dinner
Broadway Center for the Performing Arts annual gala transforms the Pantages Theater into the ballroom of your dreams. Seats are removed and staging levels the theater for tables. This year the theme, Magic & Mischief, was inspired by all things Harry Potter! A silent auction reception in the foyer featured old world charm, themed bars, and a sorting hat activity. Guests entered through backstage to reveal a stunning hand-painted 20ft tall by 40ft wide Hogwarts inspired castle rising from the upper balcony. A forest of 9ft tall glitter trees framed the sides and sparkled in thematic lighting and fog! Centerpieces charmed guests with thoughtful groupings in two styles. Gilded mermaid candle sticks stood tall on vintage stacked books. Other tables twinkled the night away with wild wire candelabras paired with tall lanterns, potion bottles, and mercury glass votives. All centerpieces sat atop torn pages from the novel series. Owls soared overhead, and the illusion of floating candle groupings moved up and down throughout the evening with custom chandeliers.
